Mazen Khaddaj | Spot the Foreigner | 2019

Mazen Khaddaj (*1985), born in Lebanon and currently residing in Germany, has specified in multidisciplinry ways. He acts as a painter, performer, video and installation artist. After completing a B.A. in Graphic Design he worked as an Art Director in the advertising industry. His artistic works have been shown in Lebanon, Germany, Bahrain, and Turkey in a series of solo exhibition and over twenty collaborative exhibitions. Work such as "I am a Foreigner" (2017) and "Spot the Foreigner" (2019), already on display at GRASSI Museum für Völkerkunde zu Leipzig in the exhibition "Re-Orient", deal with immigration. They serve him to process his own experiences moving to Germany.
