Due to the hygienic measures in accommodation of the COVID-19 outbreak, all repatriations for 2020 have been rescheduled. The upcoming repatriation to New Zealand, originally planned for October 2020, has also been postponed. Digital cooperation with the Te Papa Museum remains ongoing as well as archival research on other cases of ancestral remains. More information to upcoming repatriations to will follow as travel measures are lifted in both the European Union and abroad.
