WORKING SPACE PROLOG

The WORKING SPACE PROLOG was created from the experimental and evolutive exhibition “Prolog #1–10, Stories of People, Things and Places,” which was progressively developed from December 2016 to April 2018 at the Museum für Völkerkunde Dresden in the Japanische Palais.

After it was dismantled in April 2018, several parts of it were adapted for the WORKING SPACE PROLOG at the GRASSI Museum für Völkerkunde zu Leipzig. There, the working space was inaugurated in June 2018 as a place for discussion and experimentation. New installations are gradually being created with the aim of rethinking the museum's current permanent exhibition, which dates from 2007, and of conceiving and preparing a new concept for presenting the collection in the exhibition space.
